Trust and Privacy in Networks (TRUSTNET DAY)

Description of the event:

The objective of this thematic day (or workshop) is to allow members of the community to come together and discuss the themes of Trust, Security and Privacy in networks in general and the algorithmic tools and applications that go with it, in particular.

This day includes presentations by researchers, including PhD students, and industrials.

For its first edition, the organizers have chosen to make this event on one day. There will be guest presentations to a wide audience and shorter presentations to present recent research on more specialized topics, as well as time for informal exchanges.

We particularly encourage young researchers (PhD, postdoctoral, etc.) to participate by submitting a short draft summary of maximum 2 pages by 15 May 2023 (included) to : abderrahim.benslimane@univ-avignon.fr with copy to (melek.onen@eurecom.fr, valeria.loscri@inria.fr, olivier.festor@inria.fr ).

Then, for the presentation it will be requested to prepare a poster. In this way, they will have the opportunity to present their work in poster form, including work in progress or not yet published.

The targeted topics, related to networks in general, will be:

Study, Measurement and Use of the Trust in and to enhance security and privacy:

-        Intrusion detection,

-        Certificate Management

-        Migration of network functions to the cloud

Study and respect of privacy in:

-        Machine Learning/Federated Learning

-        Trust and AI in Cyber-Physical systems

-        Trust and privacy management and usability issues in cyber-physical systems

-        Trust and privacy technologies

-        User role in privacy and trusted solutions
